"EVEN THE WARMISTS DON'T BELIEVE IN GLOBAL WARMING"

Gooogle images

"The meeting in Durban provided an opportunity for Progressives to make their latest argument that ordinary people should surrender their freedom and hand all money and power over to unelected, unaccountable “experts” like, well, the people at the conference. This is, of course, in order to “save the planet” from “climate change”. (The issue that had for years been called “global warming” was rebranded as “climate change” when the most recent decade’s worth of data proved uncooperative.)" "WAPO: HEY, THERE WERE A LOT OF POLITICS GOING ON GREEN-TECH BOONDOGGLE"

"Kaiser did not squander his time. While he avoided the use of the word “Solyndra,” according to the account he later gave to colleagues, he complained to the president about Chinese manufacturers dumping cheap solar panels on the U.S. market and pressed Obama’s deputy chief of staff about the need for a Buy American Act for federal agencies. The company was intent on making the federal government a major customer — part of what a Solyndra investment adviser called the “Uncle Sam” strategy — and the new act would give Solyndra an advantage."(Double left click on image for full story).

"OBAMA'S DELAY ON KEYSTONE CARRIES A LARGE COST"

Americanparchment.com

"Regardless of the outcome, President Obama's desire to delay the pipeline is just the latest example of his pernicious proclivity for putting politics over sound policy when it comes to energy regulations. The president simply doesn't want to bear the political costs of deciding either way on Keystone until after his re-election bid. He's wants to remain non-committal.But organized labor, another one of Obama's prized constituencies, is as disappointed as extremist environmentalists are elated." "LONG FACES IN DURBAN"

"The warnings of the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that the world faced doom from anthropogenic (man-made) global warming were based on peer-reviewed scientific literature, the IPCC chairman claimed. But when Canadian writer Donna LaFramboise checked the 18,531 references in the 2007 report, she found 5,587 were newspaper and magazine articles written by non-experts, unpublished theses and pamphlets produced by environmental groups." "OIL-RICH AMERICA?"

"With expanded exploration and conservation, the United States could also eventually supply half its own petroleum needs. If we were to eliminate just 5 million barrels of our current daily 9 million barrels of imported petroleum, the annual savings could reach nearly $200 billion per year. Eventually, the new gas and oil could add another 1.6 million new jobs and add up to nearly $1 trillion in federal revenue." (Double left click on image for full story).

"CHINA'S DARK POWER: COAL POLLUTES ENVIRONMENT TO FUEL GROWTH"

China Coal Pollution/NY Times

"Although China plans to diversify its fuel sources, the nation at present runs mostly on domestic coal cheaply mined — cheap, that is, provided the costs to water, atmosphere and human life are not factored in.   The look of the mines has hardly changed for centuries, even though they are being modernised. Huge heaps of coal at the entrances wait to be transported by lorry. Blackboards on the office walls carry the day’s slogans for the work team leaders and reminders of the decisions of the all-powerful State Administration of Coal Mine Safety, currently run by Zhao Tiechui. The number of mining accidents has risen again since 2010, when there were 1,403 accidents and 2,433 deaths, according to official figures" (Double left click on image for full story).

"GLOBAL WARMING ALARMISM COOLING"

In this image made available by Greenpeace, activists dressed as trees protest the deforestation of the Amazon jungle in Brazil in Durban, South Africa, Nov. 29, the second day of the two-week U.N. climate conference attended by 192 parties seeking agreement on future action to curb climate change.

"At U.N. climate conference, poorer nations still want to soak richer ones."

"Americans should be pleased that the conference no sooner began than the U.S. was blamed for not taxing and regulating greenhouse gases enough, and for not writing enough compensatory checks to countries less fortunate. In the view of those overseas who want your money, America still hasn't sacrificed enough, despite onerous regulations and punitive taxes imposed domestically, including the horrific California Global Warming Solutions Act." "GLOBAL WARMING MODELS CALLED INTO QUESTION BY NEW STUDY"

Millionsface.com/ Google images

"Coupled with the fact the average global temperature hasn't increased at all over the past decade — even though under all of the global warming models now in use, this is impossible — warmist ideology is crumbling. There is no climate armageddon on the horizon. (Left click on image for full story)

"OBAMA'S EPA IS KILLING THE ECONOMY WITH COSTLY RULES"

google images

"It's not just the raft of new rules that is killing economic growth, however. Jackson and her EPA minions have been purposefully slow-walking the agency's already hideously complex process for approving permits in a crucial sector of the energy industry. Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., asked the EPA inspector general to review the agency's permitting process for surface mining permit applications in the Appalachian region over the last two years. The EPA IG found that of the 185 permit applications it identified, only 56, or less than one-third of the total, had been approved. Almost half of the 185 required at least 731 days for EPA to complete its evaluations. That compares with the 144 days EPA claims is its average evaluation period for all mining permit applications. At least a third of the 185 were simply withdrawn from consideration, presumably because the applicants despaired of ever getting a response from EPA." (Double left click on image for full story).

"PIPELINE DECISION WILL WEAKEN OBAMA"

Counterspill.com

"The articles lamenting the American's reluctance to accept the Keystone pipeline may be overlooking the Bakken and Texas tar sands that are already each producing over 500,000 barrels per day, and ramping up fast" writes Brian Lee Crowley. He continues, "Folly is too kind a word for this decision. It is the crassest pandering to a tiny minority of Americans whose demands run demonstrably contrary to U.S. interests. And even that electoral calculation is misconceived, for it will weaken, not strengthen, Barack Obama." (Double left click on image for full story).
